The all-ages show will be part of Multnomah Village’s First Friday festivities, beginning July 1. It runs from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the center, 7688 S.W. Capitol Highway. Tickets are $10 in advance , or $12.50 at the door. Children 12 and under are free.
During the show, audience members volunteer to be hypnotized onstage. As they are guided through a series of tasks under hypnosis, according to a news release, they create a unique, memorable and entertaining show for the rest of the audience.
DebbieTay Comedy Hypnotist is operated by Debbie Taylor-Lilly, a stage hypnotist who has performed at conventions, retirement celebrations, graduation events and parties.
During the First Friday of the month, stores in the village are open later and sometimes feature special deals.
