Privus Mobile Launches Mobile Caller ID in Vietnam

Privus Mobile announced that it will be powering the national launch of mobile caller ID services in Vietnam.

In a release , Greg Smith, president of Privus Mobile said, “Vietnam has shown incredible growth in its telecommunications infrastructure over the past few years, to the point that it’s now introducing concepts and capabilities unlike any other country in the world, and we’re excited to be a part of it.”

“Vietnam’s strong carrier system allows us to apply our technology across nearly every handset in the nation with unprecedented accuracy and effectiveness,” Smith added.

According to Privus sources, it has drawn an agreement with Vietnamese digital media and communication companies Media Hub and Smart Media to make caller information available to 25 million wireless users in the country.

The agreement entails Media Hub and Smart Media to provide Privus Mobile with the caller names for both mobile and landline numbers within the country. By using its data validation technology Privus Mobile will be able to deliver reliable caller ID services to mobile users. Users can identify the caller by matching numbers with names, irrespective of whether the caller is in the user’s contact list or not, explained officials.
