Mass. man appears in court on 2 murder changes

PORTLAND - Joel Aaron Hayden was in Superior Court in Cumberland County on Thursday afternoon to face two counts of murder.

Hayden, 29, of New Bedford, Mass., was arrested Monday following the shooting death of his girlfriend, Renee Sandora, 27, and his longtime friend, Trevor Mills, 28, of New Bedford.

Sandora Hayden was the mother of four children, three months, the twin daughters.
