A Florida film buff is splashing out $2.5 million on creating this Pirates of the Caribbean-themed room in his Palm Beach home.
Swashbuckling features include a Pirate tavern, complete with ships wheel, an olde worlde paved entrance and ticket booth and a luxury theatre situated on the deck of a replica pirate ship.
The hand-painted ceiling canvases simulate a stormy Caribbean sky even though the complex is completely indoors.
The cinema itself boasts plush theatre chairs on the ‘deck’, white sails draped overhead, complete with rigging, and weathered timbers on all sides of a ‘vessel’ apparently buffeted more than once by sea, storm, and the strain of battle.
Bobby Bala of Elite Home Theater Seating who designed the theatre said: ‘We wanted it to be a complete experience.
‘We want our client to feel like a kid again, and escape into the fantasy world of their favourite films so that the cinematic experience may be vastly deepened.’
‘I believe our designers have managed to strike just the right note for the client's requests which include a room filled with character and soul, yet still warm and inviting.’
Other unique home movie theatres designed by Mr Bala include a Batcave cinema.
The fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film On Stranger Tides was released last month.
In the movie, Captain Jack Sparrow, played by Johnny Depp is joined by a new character played by Penelope Cruz in the search for the Fountain of Youth.

I must tell you all something…
In all honesty, when contemplating about writing this movie out, I didn't think to involve Will and Elizabeth at all… never really crossed my mind, actually. However, after only writing the prologue it appeared that there was an interest to have those characters come along for the ride, too. It was an interesting concept and, therefore, I took it up as a challenge. And yet, I couldn't resist at going back to my original plan.
So… with that said… there are two versions of this story: that which includes Will and Elizabeth (version 1) and that which does not (version 2).
